19th Annual Samaritans 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention

Team Ryan Kenyon

Welcome to our team fundraising homepage for the Samaritans 5K! This year's event is happening on Saturday, September 23rd at Artesani Park in Brighton. We are participating in the 5K to raise funds and awareness for Samaritans, a suicide prevention organization serving Greater Boston and Metrowest.

We are walking and running in honor of Ryan M. Kenyon of Brimfield, MA, who was a kind, generous, funny, strong, and truly unique man. We hope that this day will bring all of those who loved him together to share stories of Ryan and to help keep the memory of such a special person (brother, son, friend, uncle, cousin, brother in law) alive, as well as raise money for an organization that can help prevent this from happening to other families.

All proceeds help fund Samaritans' life saving services, including our 24/7 Helplines, Community Education and Outreach, and Grief Support Services for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. These vital services are available locally to the families, friends and neighbors, free of charge. Samaritans answers calls from Greater Boston, MetroWest, the State Wide toll free number, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

You can help us prevent suicide by supporting our team through a donation or by joining our team at the event.
